Make your accounting a growth system, not a chore

I’m Brian Dela Cruz, CPA (MA), Founder & CEO of Take Flight Business Solutions. My job is simple: help owners run companies on facts, not hunches. We standardize your monthly workflow, surface the few metrics that really move cash, and make sure you get clear guidance you can act on.

What I believe

  • Clean, double-checked books are the foundation for pricing, hiring, and cash decisions.
  • Tax planning happens during the year, not after it—so you actually have time to implement changes.
  • Plain-English communication beats jargon every time. You should leave every review knowing what changed and what to do next.

How my team and I work with you

  • Predictable monthly rhythm: reconciliations on a set calendar, quick review of invoices & bills, and a short summary that ties back to profit, cash, and growth.
  • QuickBooks Online, engineered for decisions: a chart that mirrors operations, bank rules that reduce clicks, and class/location tracking that makes reports useful.
  • Payroll that’s reliable: multi-state setup and monthly tie-outs to the general ledger so numbers agree across systems.
  • Bank- & tax-agency–ready documentation: basis, depreciation, estimates—organized and easy to retrieve.

Who we help (nationwide)

  • Contractors & trades needing accurate job costs, progress-billing control, and faster collections.
  • Real-estate investors (BRRRR, rentals, flips) focused on basis, depreciation, and cash-on-cash returns.
  • Healthcare & med-spa practices balancing revenue cycle, retail sales-tax, and HIPAA-aware workflows.
  • E-commerce & online services that require clean fee mapping, clear revenue recognition, and multi-state sales-tax support.
  • Professional services & agencies that live on utilization, average ticket, and dependable AR.

What you can expect from us

  • Books delivered on schedule with a brief, actionable narrative.
  • No surprises at tax time—adjustments discussed mid-year, not after deadlines.
  • A named point of contact who responds quickly and records short walkthroughs when needed.
  • Fixed monthly pricing for ongoing work, with separate scoped quotes for any historical cleanup.

A few examples

  • A multi-crew contractor tightened progress billing and collections—protecting margins and improving cash.
  • A real-estate investor aligned entities and depreciation schedules—producing bank-ready statements and predictable estimates.
  • An online services firm cleaned QBO, added rules/classes, and cut month-end from 12 days to 4—freeing leadership time for sales and delivery.

Your next step

Book a 30-minute fit call. We’ll listen to your goals, run a quick file diagnostic, and send a clear written scope with a fixed monthly price. If cleanup is needed, we quote it as a stand-alone project with a defined timeline. Then we put your accounting on a cadence that supports confident decisions—wherever you operate in the U.S.
